THE PROBLEM TO SOLVE:
The Angie's List Magazine was a monthly print publication with a readership of almost 2 million members. We planned the content calendar based on the needs of both homeowners and contractors in our two-sided marketplace, and executed the content, both written and design, finding the balance between information and entertainment. The primary challenge for the magazine was finding content that aligned with the seasonal interests of the reader, while at the same time catering to the needs of contractors who had paid for advertising in specific issues and wanted content that aligned with their category. It was a balancing act between interests and economic needs!
